As Friends, we are the primary fundraisers
for the Library. We promote the importance of the Library in
our community, provide materials and equipment that the
Library could not ordinarily purchase from its budget, sponsor
enriching cultural programs, raise funds for special
initiatives, and volunteer time to assist with projects. We
conduct a book sale each spring and fall and coordinate the
Library Fund Drive for the Youngstown Free Library Board of
Trustees.
All proceeds directly benefit Library services, materials and
resources. Our work is vital to the Library's success.
